After the success of Partner, Subhash Ghai invited David Dhawan to speak about cinema to the students at his film school. Dhawan was more than happy to oblige. A special screening of the film was organized for the students, and later Dhawan spoke about his ’school of cinema’.

The film became a case study of sorts for those aspiring to be a professional in filmdom. Looks like every time is show-time for the showman’sstudents.
