Mumbai, Sep 3 (IANS) Konkona Sen Sharma and stage fright don’t go together. But when the actress heard that she had to dance with the nimble -footed Madhuri Dixit in “Aaja Nachle”, she nearly ran away.
“It was scary,” laughed Konkona.
Directed by Pradeep Sarkar of “Parineeta” fame, the film revolves around an ageing actress, played by Madhuri, and how she gets friendly with a young actress while working in a play and shares her secrets with her.
“Sharing acting space with Madhuri didn’t make me that nervous. I knew I could manage to hold my own in that department. But one has to be totally crazy to even attempt to match dance steps with Madhuri. I thought I’d faint when I had to dance with her,” Konkona told IANS. Read the rest of this entry »

Motherhood has made a world of difference to Madhuri Dixit. From being a polite but almost aloof entity on the sets, she has become really gregarious.
‘Children do that to you,’ she said. ‘My sons have made me a fun person. Besides that, all the experiences that you go through in life make you mature enough to realise life doesn’t have to be taken seriously all the time. My sons keep me on my toes,’ Madhuri told IANS in an interview.
She recently wrapped up her comeback film ‘Aaja Nachle’. Her kids were with her throughout the shooting of the movie. Read the rest of this entry »

Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor formed a hit jodi in a number of films in the late 80s and in 90s.
Not many people know that before Madhuri gave her consent to Yashraj Films presentation Aaja Nachle , she was approached by Anil Kapoor for a project. However, Kapoor then got busy with Gandhi My Father and the project with Madhuri was virtually forgotten.
Now, Anil Kapoor says he is looking forward to work with Madhuri once again. However, it is not clear whether Kapoor himself will produce the film. Read the rest of this entry »
