Salman Khan is mentoring good friend Boney Kapoor’s son, Arjun these days. Arjun Kapoor, who is also seeing Salman’s sister Arpita has recently embraced a healthy lifestyle and shed over 18 kilos.

The 22-year-old Arjun who is also an aspiring film-maker, has been working out under Salman’s guidance for the past five months at the actor’s high-end gym in his Bandra residence. His workout includes cardiovascular exercises combined with weight training. Arjun says, “Salmanbhai has been training me for a while now. I’ve lost 18 kilos but I’m not taking it easy. I’ve yet to achieve my best shape.”

Talking about his diet plan, Arjun informs that he has been primarily maintaining a high-protein-low-carbohydrate diet. However, there are days when he gorges on oily food also. “Salmanbhai hasn’t put me on a rigorous diet,” he says.

There are days when the duo simply cycle to Film City from Salman’s Bandra home at Galaxy Apartments. Whenever boredom sets in, he drags his protégé to adjacent gyms and puts him on kicking and punching exercises. “We keep doing different things. At times we simply go running or cycling to places where Salmanbhai is shooting,” says Arjun.

New Delhi: Prakash Jaju, the estranged private secretary of Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court, challenging her discharge by the Madhya Pradesh High Court in a criminal intimidation case filed by him.

In the special leave petition filed through counsel Abhijit Sengupta and Anand Dey, the petitioner submitted that the High Court had erroneously discharged the actress of criminal intimidation charges while acknowledging the same against her father Ashok Chopra and underworld don Chhota Shakeel. Anuradha SenGupta: It is not very surprising to find you in front of the camera these days.

Karan Johar: No, not at all. Actually, it’s something I thought I was doing as a hobby. But it seems to kind of just continuing in my life.

There is more to Om Shanti Om than the six-pack abs of superstar Shah Rukh Khan .

Eros International announced the forthcoming worldwide release of one of the biggest anticipated blockbusters this year, ‘Om Shanti Om’, produced by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Farah Khan on 9th November 2007. Eros is expected to release the film across an unprecedented 2000 plus screens worldwide.

‘Om Shanti Om’ stars SRK and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. The magic combination of SRK - Farah Khan comes together again after the huge success of Main Hoon Na . The film’s score and soundtrack has been composed by the musical duo, Vishal-Shekhar with lyrics by Javed Akhtar .

Cinematography for the movie is by V. Manikandan whilst editing is handled by Farah’s husband Shirish Kunder .

‘Om Shanti Om’ is a story of love, dreams, betrayal and destiny revolving around a film actor ‘Om’ (SRK) and his love interest ‘Shanti’ (Deepika). Om was a junior artist and Shanti a superstar in the 1970’s. He was her biggest fan. She was his biggest inspiration.

The film has over 30 of Bollywood’s hottest stars including Salman Khan , Rani Mukherjee , Kajol , Sanjay Dutt , Priyanka Chopra , Preity Zinta , Saif Ali Khan and many more putting in a guest appearance.

To celebrate the blockbuster success of their latest release, CHAK DE! INDIA, the father-son duo of Yash and Aditya Chopra recently sat down with their lucky mascot, Shah Rukh Khan. As per the grapevine, the informal meeting was not just about exchanging pleasantries or congratulating each other. Reportedly, they discussed (amongst other things) their next (secret) project together, to be directed by either Yash or Aditya (a mystery that the media is trying to solve for a while!).

While we await an official communique from Yash Raj about their next project, obviously featuring Shah Rukh Khan, their last venture, CHAK DE! INDIA, has netted an amazing 51 crores (in just 4 weeks) from India and grossed nearly 2 million dollars from UK and US.
