After 15 years, Hema Malini started refurbishing her production house and roped in Revathi to direct her film. She has already signed Rekha and her daughter Esha in the film. There was also a buzz that Abhishek Bachchan is roped in for the film. However, a reliable source confirms that Abhishek is not a part of this project.
Also, unlike the rumors which say that the shoot will start next month, this untitled film will go on floors only by next year.
It is learnt that the subject is women-centric and deals with mother and daughter relationship. Hema wanted Revathi to handle this project as she felt that a woman director would be able to relate to the mother-daughter subject better. This will be Revathi’s third directorial venture. Mumbai, Sep 14 (IANS) Not too many cineastes would recall Juhi Chawla’s presence in a Rakesh Roshan film. But nudge your memory, and you’ll recall her in the director’s ill-fasted “Karobaar” where she played Rishi Kapoor’s wife who’s tempted to spend a night with business tycoon Anil Kapoor.
The remake of the Robert Redford-Demi Moore starrer “An Indecent Proposal” was a fiasco.
“That’s because the film got delayed. By the time ‘Karobaar’ came out the story was stale. Anyway, Juhi is working with us again,” Roshan told IANS.
The lovely actress last seen as a demure wife in Ganesh Acharya’s “Swami”, has been cast as psychiatrist in Roshan’s comedy “Krazy 4″ to be directed by Raja Sen.
“Juhi plays a psychiatrist. We needed someone mature. While all the guys, Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Yadav, Irrfan Khan and Suresh Menon, are funny Juhi is very serious,” added Roshan.
This is Juhi’s second role as a shrink in a comedy. She was given the thankless task of curing Govinda’s mind in David Dhawan’s “Deewana Mastana”.
She will be also seen in Ravi Chopra’s “Bhootnath”.

Putting to rest all speculations on Sanjay Dutt’s future acting plans, his close friend Sanjay Gupta says Dutt will resume shooting for Alibaug in Mumbai. “Right now I’m in Goa shooting with the entire cast of Alibaug barring Sanju. But he joins us later in Mumbai to complete his work.”
Sanjay Dutt has already completed one schedule of Alibaug in Mumbai after which he was incarcerated. He’s expected to join the Alibaug team later during the month. Says Gupta, “There’s absolutely no question of Alibaug without Sanjay Dutt. He’s the film’s backbone.”
In the meanwhile another of Dutt’s buddies Bunty Walia is going full-steam ahead with his plans of making Lamha with Sanjay Dutt.
“I’m giving Sanju a completely new look for Lamha. We start shooting next year,” informs Bunty.

Mumbai, (IANS) Indian cinema’s enduring star continues to shine, with greasepaint or without, behind the camera or in front and now as author. At 83, the indomitable Dev Anand is yet again “Romancing With Life”, an autobiography he promises will “feature little known secrets” through his six decades in showbiz.
Still retaining his romantic charm reminiscent of his heydays in the 1950s and 60s, attired in his trademark scarf over a bold blue jacket - and utterly in love with himself - Anand said: “My book, an autobiography in fact, is being released on my birthday on Sep 26, by no less than Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Delhi.”
Incidentally, it’s his birthday as well.
